Michigan eLibrary facivonTo support learning from home, MeL has been working with our database vendors to provide access to free, additional content so all types of learners can be supported with quality tools and materials.

Beginning today, you will see a Learning from Home During COVID-19 link on the MeL.org home page. This link will take you to a range of additional content.

 

Gale

Visit Gale’s COVID-19 site for full details. This content is available as long as needed. Additional open access is available for:

  • eBooks about the Corona Virus and global pandemics
  • eBooks about virtual learning and other types of distance learning professional development
  • Open access to the following databases is in the Enhance Instruction section of Gale’s site:

PebbleGo/Capstone

Capstone is providing open access to the full set of PebbleGo modules, a set of PebbleGo Next modules and their Capstone Interactive eBook collection. This content is available from now until June 30, 2020.

PebbleGo: MeL modules include Animals and Social Studies. Additional modules include Science, Dinosaurs, Health, and Biographies. Spanish content is also available for Animals, Science, Biographies and Social Studies.
