Url: http://www.davidrumsey.com/luna/servlet/view/search?q=Michigan&sort=Pub_Date,Pub_List_No,Series_No

Description: This link takes you to the "Historic Maps of Michigan" page of the David Rumsey Map Collection. From there, you can navigate to the entire site. The Collection focuses primarily on cartography of the Americas from the 18th and 19th centuries, but also has maps of the World, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania. The collection includes atlases, globes, school geographies, books, maritime charts, and a variety of separate maps, including pocket, wall, children's and manuscript. Because of the vast amount of material, the site offers three ways to view the material including a type of Web browser; a downloadable JAVA client; and a GIS browser, which can be integrated with other spatial data.
